Keyboard shortcuts

The toolbar responds to keyboard shortcuts wherever you're working, so you rarely need to reach for the mouse mid-edit. Most shortcuts only apply while a specific tool is open and an element is selected — the tables below note the context for each.

Note

Cmd on macOS maps to Ctrl on Windows and Linux for every shortcut below.

Global

Works anywhere, regardless of which tool is open or where focus currently is.

Shortcut	Action
`Cmd/Ctrl+.`	Toggles the whole toolbar (and any comment pins) on and off, without losing your current selection, style draft, or agent session — useful for a clean look at the full page.

Selection & inspect mode

Applies while hovering or with an element selected, before you've opened a specific tool.

Shortcut	Action
`Esc`	Cancels hover/inspect mode, then clears the current selection.
`↑`	While hovering, moves the hover target up to the parent element.
`↓`	While hovering, moves the hover target back down to the previously-hovered child.

Style tool

Applies with an element selected and the Style dock action open.

Shortcut	Action
`Cmd/Ctrl+Z`	Undo the last style edit.
`Cmd/Ctrl+Shift+Z` or `Cmd/Ctrl+Y`	Redo the last undone style edit.
`Esc`	Steps back one undo, then reverts to the original inline style, then fully resets the selection.

Move & layout tool

Applies with an element selected and the Layout dock action open.

Shortcut	Action
`Tab`	Toggles freeform mode — absolute positioning instead of reordering between siblings.
`↑ ↓ ← →`	Nudges the selected element by 1px.
`Shift+↑ ↓ ← →`	Nudges the selected element by 10px.

Text fine-tune

Applies with a text element selected — adjusts font size and line height without opening the full style panel.

Shortcut	Action
`← →`	Switches the active property between text size and line height.
`↑ ↓`	Steps the active property through its scale.
`Shift+↑ ↓`	Jumps two steps instead of one.
`0`	Resets the active property.
`Shift+0`	Resets both text size and line height.

Rich text editing

Applies while editing text content directly on the page.

Shortcut	Action
`Cmd/Ctrl+Enter`	Commits the text edit.
`Esc`	Cancels the edit and reverts the text.

Comments

Applies while composing or editing an annotation pin.

Shortcut	Action
`Enter` / `Space`	Opens a focused annotation marker for editing.
`Cmd/Ctrl+Enter`	Submits the annotation.
`Esc`	Cancels the annotation edit.

Agent panel

Applies while the agent composer or an open file preview has focus.

Shortcut	Action
`Shift+Tab`	Cycles the agent mode: Ask → Plan → Build.
`Esc`	Closes an open file preview.

Style editing
