Terms of Service

Acceptance
By creating an account, installing the Chrome extension, or using any Quey service, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the service. These terms apply to all users, including those on free plans.
What Quey provides
Quey provides a Chrome extension for visual UI inspection and agent-context capture, a hosted backend for account management and device authentication, npm packages (@quey/sdk, @uitoolbar/mcp, @quey/cli), and a marketing and documentation website. The service is provided on an "as is" basis and we may update, change, or discontinue features at any time.
Account
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You must not share your account or allow others to access paid features using your credentials. You must provide accurate information when signing up. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
Acceptable use
You may use Quey for personal, commercial, or open-source development projects. You may not: use Quey to build products that directly compete with it using its own infrastructure; reverse-engineer the service to extract proprietary logic; use automated means to scrape or abuse the API at scale; or use the service for any unlawful purpose.
Billing and refunds
Paid plans are billed as described on the pricing page — either as a one-time lifetime purchase or as a recurring monthly subscription. All payments are processed by Stripe. Lifetime plans are non-refundable after 14 days. Monthly plans can be cancelled at any time; you retain access until the end of the current billing period. We do not offer prorated refunds for partial months.
Intellectual property
Quey and its logos are trademarks of their respective owners. The source code for the Chrome extension and npm packages is published on GitHub under the project's stated licence. Nothing in these terms transfers ownership of Quey's intellectual property to you.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Quey is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of the service. Our total liability for any claim arising under these terms will not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or $100 USD, whichever is greater.
Termination
You may stop using the service at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these terms or if we discontinue the service. On termination, your right to use the service ends immediately. Sections covering intellectual property, limitation of liability, and dispute resolution survive termination.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by email or by posting a notice on the website. Your continued use of the service after the effective date of the updated terms constitutes acceptance.
